One of the main trends in the beauty industry is the abandonment of eyelash extensions. Instead, girls choose lamination – a procedure that does not injure the hairs, but provides care and a natural effect. In their work, lash makers use special compounds that give eyelashes shine, a healthy appearance, nourish them with useful substances, lift them and fix their curl. The results last up to several months with proper care. And this is where many girls make mistakes. We'll tell you how to care for laminated eyelashes so that the effect lasts as long as possible.
Rules of care on the first day after the procedure
Care for laminated eyelashes begins immediately after leaving the specialist. And first of all, it consists in completely eliminating any … care. The first day has the greatest impact on the result after lamination. It is important to allow the composition to set in order to maintain its effectiveness. Therefore, during this period, you must especially strictly adhere to the rules for handling eyelashes. In particular, on the first day after the procedure you cannot:
- wet them;
- rub your eyes;
- do makeup.
Water (washing your face, washing your hair, swimming in the pool) on the first day after the procedure can lead to the lamination product being washed off, and it will not have time to take hold. As a consequence – The bend will disappear very quickly.
You should also not rub your eyes until the composition has stabilized. In this way, the styling can be damaged and the eyelashes will be fixed in the wrong position or lose their bend.
You should also put off makeup for a day. Applying mascara reduces the effectiveness of the composition, prevents it from taking hold, causing the effect to quickly disappear.
On the first day after the procedure, you cannot visit the solarium, baths and saunas, but you need to sleep carefully, trying to prevent eye contact with the bed so as not to destroy the curl.
In other words, on the first day after lamination, you need to limit eyelash contact with moisture, cosmetics (including cleansers) and touch as much as possible. This is necessary for the results to last as long as possible. The subtleties of handling eyelashes do not end there. After the first 24 hours, proper daily care must be provided. There are also subtleties in this issue.
