Eyebrow tinting procedure

Eyebrow tinting procedure

Well-groomed eyebrows – one of the main elements of an ideal image, which is why most girls care about their appearance. An effective method of care is eyebrow tinting, which ensures long-lasting color, a clear shape and a long-lasting effect. This is a simple and inexpensive way to change eyebrow color, which can be used at home or in a salon.

Benefits of eyebrow tinting

Eyebrow care includes maintaining a neat appearance, strengthening hairs, controlling color and shape, and strengthening. Many women choose coloring, because the procedure has many advantages:

  • Clarity and expression. Coloring helps draw attention to the eyes and highlight them, making eyebrows brighter and clearer.
  • Naturality. With the right choice of shade, the coloring looks natural, harmoniously complementing the color of the hair and eyes.
  • Saving time. After this procedure, touch-up with shadows or pencil is not required, so morning make-up will take much less time.
  • Durability. The color lasts for several weeks after the procedure, so there is no need for frequent touch-ups.
  • Shape correction. Coloring with henna or dye helps to correct the shape and make the eyebrows more symmetrical.

Keep in mind that tinted eyebrows will look natural and attractive only if materials are professionally selected for your type of appearance and the procedure is carried out professionally.

How does the eyebrow tinting procedure work?

One of the main preparatory stages – selection of dye for the procedure. The most popular are henna and dye. Henna for eyebrows is created from natural ingredients. But eyebrow tint also provides a good and long-lasting effect, so it is suitable in the absence of contraindications. The painting procedure itself consists of several stages:

  1. Cleaning and degreasing the treated area. To begin, the eyebrows need to be thoroughly cleaned using special products to ensure normal fixation of the dye.
  2. Color definition. It is recommended to match the shade to the color of your eyes and hair to ensure a harmonious appearance.
  3. Choice of shape. The optimal shape is selected according to the type of face and the wishes of the user; before applying the dye, it is drawn with a pencil.
  4. Skin protection. Before applying paint, you need to protect the skin near your eyebrows from staining. To do this, apply a thick layer of thick cream on it.
  5. Applying dye. At this stage, the dye is prepared according to the instructions – This usually involves mixing the paint with an oxide. After this, the mixture is applied to the eyebrows along the previously drawn contour, trying to thoroughly cover all the hairs with the composition.
  6. Paint removal and adjustments. The exposure time is usually from 5 to 15 minutes, after which the paint is removed with a cotton pad or napkin. Residues are removed with water, and if necessary, excess hairs are removed to correct the shape.

After the procedure, the master provides information on how to care for your eyebrows after coloring. The specialist will also tell you when correction is needed, recommend care products for your skin type and answer any questions you may have.

Recommendations before painting

Preparation for the procedure is also important, because the final result and your safety depend on it. Before painting, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the contraindications:

  • psoriasis in active form;
  • acne, wounds, irritations and other damage in the eyebrow area;
  • allergic reaction to paint and its components;
  • bronchial asthma;
  • recent tattooing, permanent or lamination of this area.

If there is any contraindication, performing the procedure is strictly prohibited. You should not apply scrubs or peels to your skin the day before, as this may negatively affect the fixation of coloring components. It is also recommended to avoid going to the bathhouse, sauna, solarium and swimming pool a few days before coloring.

Why is it better to refuse eyebrow tinting at home

Coloring can be done both in a salon and at home. Before dyeing, it is important to know how to dye eyebrows, what formulations are best to use and how to avoid negative consequences. Home painting has significant disadvantages compared to a professional procedure:

  • it’s difficult to choose the right shape and shade on your own;
  • at home, the risk of allergies and other health problems increases;
  • painting yourself will take much more time.

Removing paint from leather is done gradually, so if you make mistakes when painting at home, you can correct them only after a few weeks.

  • do not use scrubs, peelings or products containing alcohol for two days;
  • refuse to visit the solarium, sauna, bathhouse and swimming pool for 72 hours;
  • carry out the correction within the time frame recommended by the specialist.
